The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s Washington D.C. Chapter will host Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Operations Customer Acquisition Teams Working as One on September 19, 2019, at the Holiday Inn Capitol Hotel. Calvin Anderson, head of commercial for OYO, will discuss practical strategies that can be easily implemented to successfully compete in today’s competitive hospitality environment.
During this special education session, Anderson will explore how to attain alignment from sales, marketing, revenue management, and operations customer acquisitions teams in order to achieve a collaborative business model that operates effectively with both intention and discipline.
Anderson has deep roots in lodging revenue analytics, having held senior roles at Duetto Research, Hilton, and Highgate Hotels. He is committed to advancing the hospitality industry though leadership. Anderson formerly served as an adjunct professor at the NYU Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, frequently speaks as a university guest lecture, and is an industry keynote speaker and author. He presently sits on the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Americas Board and was recently named a 20 Next-Gen Leader by Hotel Magazine.
Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Operations Customer Acquisition Teams Working as One registration will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by the main program from 4:00-6:00 p.m. The event is $50 for HSMAI members and $65 for nonmembers. Parking is available at the Holiday Inn Capitol. The Metro’s Blue Line serves the L’Enfant Plaza and Federal Center, both near the hotel.
