Useful Information for Travelers to Quito, Ecuador

La Mariscal Neighborhood

Follow the security measures that your Embassy suggests

Due to the nation-wide paralysis of urban, interprovince and interregional buses and taxi services, the Municipality of Quito has bolstered the municipal public transport system to help move people around the city safely.

In communication with local accommodation sites, Quito Turismo has confirmed that their support for tourists and related services are operating with relative normality.

Some airlines have decided to cancel or divert certain flights scheduled to arrive in Quito since last week. However, they are actively assisting customers to provide them with timely information about any change. Currently, all means of getting to and from Mariscal Sucre airport are open.

We recommend following the security measures that your embassy suggests, and resorting to official channels to obtain accurate information.
